Folk Mote Music - Banjos

Banjos by Terry Mead - Once again available!

Beautifully handcrafted Mountain Banjos, "C" scale Banjos, Mandolins, and ukes. The Terry Mead Banjo has been designed to provide musicians with a high quality, lightweight, acoustically unique banjo. Softer and sweeter in sound than the standard banjo, this instrument is still able to hold its own in a jam session or performance without overpowering other instruments. The gentler tone makes the instrument particularly suited for front porch picking and folk music playing.

The design of this instrument has evolved from more than 25 years of banjo building experience. It has been crafted with great attention to both playability and aesthetics.

Also available are the Terry Mead Mandolin, Mandola, the UkeBanjo (with a 9" pot and 14" scale), and his standard banjo with a fiberskin head (26 1/4" scale and 11" pot).
