Gibson F-4 Mandolin (1921)

1921 F-4 cherry sunburst Gibson Mandolin, serial # 63653. This instrument is in very good condition; straight neck; no cracks; just scuffs and scrapes on top from use and crazing in the lacquer, as is seen in many instruments from this era. Carved Spruce top with ivoroid bound oval soundhole and fingerboard; Nickel hardware; adjustable aluminum top on ebony bridge; “The Gibson” stamped on tailpiece cover; 4 on plate tuners with ivoroid buttons; pickguard is missing; pearl logo and double flowerpot headstock inlays. This instrument has its original hardshell case, but case needs new leather handle.
